This week, the Dynamite team carried out a Spin-A-Thon to raise as much money as possible for The Rainbow Centre. Due to a sharp decline in donations The Rainbow Centre has launched a campaign to raise £100,000 by the end of the summer to avoid restricting some of their services or even closure. #savetherainbow
Everyone in the office had to endure an hour on the spin bike, outside in the entrance to our office building, and spin for a minimum of 18 miles each! In total we covered the distance from Paris to The Rainbow Centre in Fareham, Hampshire.
We are delighted with the kind donations that were raised both online and in the collection buckets on the day. At the time of writing this, our online total is £1,450 and our collection buckets raised an impressive £347.02, so thank you so much for everyone at the Lakeside offices and to friends and family for helping us raise this total. Dynamite Recruitment will be topping up this total to ensure we reach our £3K target.

The donation will be made in Stan's name, who has been attending The Rainbow Centre from a young age and they have helped to support his development tremendously. In September, Stan's family would have to start paying for his sessions, should they want to continue his development and therefore for every £250 raised he will receive one free session. We were delighted to meet Stan when he came down to see us 'spinning' on the day!
