Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday (with overtime available)
Location: Chandlers Ford
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.
This is a temporary to remain permanent position
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our busy, growing client in Chandlers Ford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence who enjoys practical work and being part of a busy warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Testing a range of technical equipment – both mechanical and electrical
– Assist engineers with testing, preparation, loading, and unloading equipment
– Load and unload goods in and out – using a forklift
– Pick job orders accurately and efficiently
– Recording equipment data and report any faults or issues
– Support and reporting stock checking and audits
– Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
– Clean large equipment using pressure washing equipment
– Follow company procedures and health & safety standards at all times
Candidate Requirements:
– Recent background in a similar role (essential)
– Knowledge in a mechanical or electrical background (desired)
– Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
– Basic IT skills
– Good communication and teamwork skills
– Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
